  • For transformer applications, use EasyDisk spacers or similar anchoring methods to hold the sensor tip in place without crushing it during operation (FISO) .
  • For surface installations, adhesives like M-Bond 200, AE-10, or RTV silicone can be used to attach the fiber to the surface (Sensuron) .
  • Temporary or non-critical applications can use double-sided tape, but it is less reliable under environmental stress .

Step 4: Routing the Fiber Cable

  • Route the fiber along a safe path, avoiding sharp bends and mechanical stress points.
  • Leave slack in the cable to accommodate movement or thermal expansion. Coiling 20–30 cm loops can help manage excess length (FISO) .
