Tray Fill Capacity

The fill capacity of the tray must not exceed NEC limits to prevent overheating and maintain airflow. For power cables, the fill should not exceed 40% of the tray's cross-sectional area, and for control or communication cables, 50% is recommended. Best practice is to maintain 50% or less to allow for future expansion and proper cooling .

Grounding and Bonding
